Frequently Asked Questions

Which tier should I start with?

Non-technical staff and students start at Tier 1. Developers who already code can start at Tier 2, and engineers who already build with AI can go straight to Tier 3.

Do I have to take the tiers in order?

No. Each tier stands on its own. Each one builds on the one before, so taking them in order helps, but experienced developers can skip ahead.

What do I need for Tier 3?

Working Python and experience with web APIs. Basic machine learning concepts and Tier 2 help but are not required.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Each tier has its own certificate, issued by Predictive Systems, Inc. once you pass its assessment.

How are the courses delivered?

Recorded lectures with an AI tutor before class, live online sessions with PSI practitioners, and group breakout sessions.

What tools do we use?

Tier 1 uses ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. Tier 2 uses Claude Code, OpenCode, Copilot or Cursor. Tier 3 uses LangChain or LlamaIndex, Qdrant, Neo4j, Ollama and GPU notebooks.

Yes. Any tier can be run for a team, and Tiers 2 and 3 together make a 56-hour elective for CS and IT students. Contact us to plan one.
